Measuring the Economic Value of Research – John King

John King, Director of Analysis and Policy in Graduate Studies, will speak about his book "Measuring the Economic Value of Research." The book presents a new approach to assessing the economic impact of university sponsored research, using administrative microdata and tools from data science. The result is a new data architecture to assist decision making for universities and research funders, and to inform public policy toward science and innovation.

AggieDash and BI Program Update – Nicholas Barbulesco

Nicholas Barbulesco, the Program Manager for Business Intelligence, will discuss the future and scope of the AggieDash Partner Program where departments can engage in the co-development of their own data and dashboards. The BI team is also happy to announce exciting additions to the Business Intelligence website including Aggiedash onboarding tutorials, Tableau getting-started guides, and tips and tricks to facilitate the use Tableau.
